Monel 400 demonstrates extraordinary resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments, with exceptional performance in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and alkaline solutions. In seawater immersion, corrosion rates remain below 1 mil per year (0.025 mm/year).

Enhanced Mechanical Strength

Excellent mechanical properties across wide temperature ranges: tensile strength 70-85 ksi (480-585 MPa), yield strength 25-45 ksi (170-310 MPa). Maintains strength and toughness from -200°F (-129°C) to 1000°F (538°C).
