Cold Rolled SUH409L SUS409L 409 Stainless Steel Coil

AISI 409L stainless steel strip and SUH409L stainless steel coil are premium cold rolled steel sheets designed for decoration and construction applications. Compared with ordinary carbon steel, stainless steel contains enhanced alloying elements such as Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), Manganese (Mn), and Molybdenum (Mo), providing superior material characteristics and corrosion resistance.

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel primarily depends on Chromium content, while Molybdenum and Nitrogen further enhance this property. Nickel ensures optimal microstructure and mechanical performance.

Surface Finishes

Finish	Description
No.4	Good gloss with fine surface lines. Processing: Polishing and tempering rolling of 2D/2B products with 150-180 abrasive material (JIS R6002).
HL	Silver-gray with hairline streaks. Processing: Polishing 2D/2B products with appropriate abrasive material for continuous grain appearance.
8K	Mirror finish state. Processing: Grinding and polishing 2D/2B products to mirror effect with suitable abrasive material.
2B	Silvery white with superior gloss and flatness compared to 2D. Processing: Hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + quenching and tempering rolling.
BA	Excellent surface gloss with high reflectivity, similar to mirror surface. Processing: Hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + surface polishing + quenched and tempered rolling.
1D	Matte surface with discontinuous particles. Processing: Hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling.
2D	Slightly shiny silvery white. Processing: Hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling.
No.3	Better gloss with rough surface. Processing: Polishing and tempering rolling of 2D/2B products with 100-120 abrasive materials (JIS R6002).
SB	Smooth surface with clear, delicate texture and sophisticated appearance. Highly preferred for kitchen appliances and consumer applications.
