제품 설명
Inconel 625 Alloy 625 DIN2.4856 Plate & Sheet
Alloy 625 is an austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy offering exceptional corrosion resistance combined with high strength from cryogenic temperatures to 1800°F (982°C). The alloy's strength comes from solid-solution hardening by molybdenum and niobium, eliminating the need for precipitation-hardening treatments.
Key Properties
  • Outstanding corrosion resistance in severe operating environments
  • Resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature service
  • Immunity to chloride stress corrosion cracking
  • Resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular attack
  • Easy welding and fabrication using standard shop practices
Industry Applications
  • Aerospace: Bellows, expansion joints, ducting systems, jet engine exhaust systems
  • Air Pollution Control: Chimney liners, dampers, flue gas desulfurization components
  • Chemical Processing: Equipment handling oxidizing and reducing acids
  • Marine Service: Steam line bellows, Navy ship exhaust systems
  • Nuclear Industry: Reactor core components, waste reprocessing equipment
  • Offshore Oil & Gas: Waste flare gas stacks, piping systems, riser sheathing
  • Waste Treatment: Waste incineration components
Standards Compliance
  • ASTM: B 443
  • ASME: SB 443
  • AMS: 5599

Corrosion Resistance Performance
Alloy 625 demonstrates excellent resistance in various corrosive environments including mineral acids (hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric, sulfuric), alkalis, and organic acids under both oxidizing and reducing conditions.
Fabrication & Processing
Hot Forming
Temperature range: 1650 - 2150°F (900 - 1177°C)
Cold Forming
Best performed in annealed condition with higher work hardening rates than austenitic stainless steels
Welding
Compatible with GTAW (TIG), PLASMA, GMAW (MIG/MAG), SAW and SMAW (MMA) processes
Machining
Recommended in annealed condition with low cutting speeds and adequate cut depth to avoid work-hardened zones
