Inconel 600 (N06600) Nickel-Based Alloy Characteristics
Inconel 600 is an early-developed nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy. It offers excellent high-temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance, superior hot and cold processing capabilities, and outstanding welding performance. The alloy maintains satisfactory heat resistance and high-temperature plasticity below 700°C.
This alloy can be strengthened through cold working and can be joined using resistance welding, solvent welding, or brazing techniques. It is ideally suited for manufacturing anti-oxidation components that bear low loads below 1100°C.
