1. Description:
17-4PH Stainless Steel Tubing is a high-performance precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel offering an exceptional combination of properties:

High Strength & Hardness: Achieves significantly higher mechanical properties than standard austenitic grades (like 304/316) through a simple aging heat treatment.

Good Corrosion Resistance: Resists corrosion comparable to Type 304 stainless steel in many environments, particularly useful for moderate acids, freshwater, steam, and petroleum products.

Excellent Fabricability: Can be readily machined, welded (in the solution-annealed condition), and formed prior to the final aging treatment.

Good Mechanical Properties at Elevated Temperatures: Maintains strength up to approximately 600°F (315°C).

Magnetic: Exhibits magnetic properties, especially in the aged condition.
This versatile material is supplied in the solution annealed (Condition A) state, ready for forming/fabrication and subsequent heat treatment (aging) to achieve the desired strength level (e.g., H900, H1025, H1100, H1150).
