Product Overview
AISI 1045 steel round bar is a high carbon steel under American standard, classified as quenching and tempering steel with high strength properties. This alloy steel is available in various forms including hot rolled round bars and square bars, cold-drawing bars, and forged bars.
Applications
AISI 1045 round bar is widely used for manufacturing moving parts requiring high strength, including:
- Plunger of air compressor and pump
- Rolled shaft and connecting rod
- Endless screw and gear rack
- Dowel of heavy machines
- Crank axle and machine tool shaft
- Transmission shaft and wear resistant parts
Commonly used in quenching and tempering and normalizing delivery states. After high-frequency quenching or shot peening, it can be applied to produce wear resistant components.
