Corrosion Resistance

- Excellent resistance at normal temperatures with good performance in oxidizing and carburizing atmospheres
Heat Resistance
- Good oxidation resistance in intermittent service up to 1040°C and continuous service up to 1150°C
- Excellent resistance to thermal fatigue and cyclic heating
- Widely used in environments with sulphur dioxide gas at elevated temperatures
- Generally effective at temperatures starting from 800-900°C, above the range for 304H and 321 grades
