Product Introduction
Cold-rolled steel sheet, also known as cold-rolled plate or cold plate, is manufactured from hot-rolled carbon structural steel strips through further cold rolling to achieve thicknesses below 4mm. The cold rolling process at room temperature prevents iron oxide formation, resulting in superior surface quality and precise dimensional accuracy. Combined with annealing treatment, cold-rolled sheets offer enhanced mechanical and technological properties compared to hot-rolled steel sheets, making them ideal for various applications, particularly in household appliance manufacturing where they have largely replaced hot-rolled alternatives.
