Prepainted Galvanized Steel Coil (PPGI)
Prepanited galvanized steel coil, also known as PPGI or color plate, is manufactured using cold rolled steel plate and galvanized steel plate as the base plate. After surface pretreatment including degreasing, cleaning, and chemical conversion treatment, the coating is applied using a continuous roller coating method, followed by baking and cooling.
The coated steel plate features light weight, beautiful appearance, and excellent anti-corrosion performance. It can be directly processed and serves as a new raw material for the construction industry, shipbuilding industry, vehicle manufacturing industry, household appliances industry, and electrical industry. It effectively replaces wood with steel, enables efficient construction, and provides energy saving and pollution prevention benefits.
Galvanized Steel Coil
Galvanized sheet refers to zinc-coated steel plate surface. Galvanizing is an economical and effective rust prevention method, with approximately half of the world's zinc production used in this process.
Surface Requirements:
- Surface state varies based on coating process: regular spangle, small spangle, big spangles, etc.
- Galvanized sheet must have good appearance without harmful defects such as no plating, holes, cracks, scum, excessive thick plating, abrasion, chromic acid dirt, or white rust
- Specific appearance defects should be specified in the contract when ordering
Galvalume Steel Coil
Galvalume steel sheet is an alloy composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc and 2% silicon solidified at 600ºC. The structure consists of aluminized iron, silicon and zinc, forming dense tetrad junction crystal.
