I Beam - The most common beam type featuring a center web rolled to mill equipment capacity (typically 5/8″). Lighter in weight and manufactured as a single solid piece through rolling processes, making it ideal for general structural applications.
H Beam - Engineered for superior strength through a three-piece welded construction process. Each component is individually reinforced, resulting in a heavier beam capable of withstanding greater force and pressure than I-beams.
