Types of Stainless Steel Beams

I-Beam

The most common beam in our inventory, featuring a center web that can be rolled according to mill equipment capabilities (typically 5/8″). I-Beams are lighter in weight, making them ideal for numerous applications. Manufactured as a solid piece of metal through rolling processes, they provide reliable structural support.

H-Beam

H-Beams offer superior strength compared to I-Beams, though they require more intensive manufacturing processes. Instead of being rolled as a single piece, H-Beams consist of three individually created components welded together. This construction method allows for enhanced strength through multiple reinforcement processes, resulting in a heavier beam capable of withstanding greater force and pressure.
