Product Description
Inconel 600 (UNS N06600 / DIN 2.4816) Plate
3mm Nonmagnetic DIN 2.4816 Inconel 600 Plate 8mm X 4 Feet X 8 Feet
Product Overview
Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy designed for use from cryogenic to elevated temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C). This high-performance alloy offers excellent oxidation resistance, good performance in carburizing and chloride-containing environments, and is virtually immune to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking.
Chemical Composition
Ni 72.0-76.0%, Cr 14.0-17.0%, Fe 6.0-10.0%, Mn 1.0%, C 0.15%, Cu 0.5%, Si 0.5%, S 0.015%
Key Characteristics
- Resistant to wide range of corrosive media including organic acids
- Virtually immune to chlorine ion stress corrosion cracking
- Excellent resistance to alkaline solutions and chloride environments
- Good resistance to sulfur compounds and oxidizing environments
- Non-magnetic with excellent mechanical properties
- High strength combined with good workability
- Readily weldable with good cold forming characteristics
