Heat Treatment Processes
Hardening & Tempering
- Heat uniformly to 850°C
- Quench in oil
- Temper at 550°C for minimum 2 hours

- Complete annealing in air
Normalizing
- Heat to 850°C
- Cool to room temperature in air
