High Tensile Thin Stainless Steel Wire / 316 316L 1mm Steel Wire Mesh
Stainless steel is a versatile material widely used in industrial applications such as lockwire and spring wire, and extensively employed in the medical field due to its ability to meet demanding requirements at relatively low cost. Wire can be manufactured as round or flat ribbon and finished in various tempers.
Stainless steel wire conforming to NASM20995 (corrosion resistant steel) is inventoried in common sizes and offered on one to five pound spools. Medical grade stainless alloys are kept in stock for fabrication as bare or film coated wires made to customer specifications.

Available Sizes
Our standard stock range includes wire diameters from 0.1mm up to 8.00mm. For larger requirements, we maintain stocks in cut lengths and can supply up to 25mm diameter in coil form.
Tensile Strength Range
Our wires are manufactured to suit various customer requirements and industry standards. We offer very soft wires that are formable by hand with tensile strengths of approximately 500-600 N/mm², as well as high-strength wires with tensile strengths exceeding 1600 N/mm² for demanding applications.
Packaging Options
Wire can be supplied in coils ranging from 0.5 kg up to 800 kg in single complete coils, depending on diameter. Material is available on carrier-less cores, formers, or spools. We provide heat-treated pallets and export worldwide.
Coatings and Finishes
Wires can be supplied with various finishes and coatings as required, from bright to dull finishes, suitable for electro-polishing or with additional lubricants and coatings to facilitate secondary processing operations.
