Our high-quality Monel 400 Round Bar is a premium nickel-copper alloy manufactured to international standards including ASTM B164. Monel 400 (UNS N04400) delivers superior performance in corrosive environments, making it ideal for critical components in offshore, chemical processing, oil and gas, and marine engineering applications.
Outstanding performance in seawater, salt solutions, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and alkaline solutions with corrosion rates below 0.025mm/year in flowing seawater.
Excellent mechanical properties maintained from sub-zero temperatures up to 540°C with tensile strength ≥480 MPa and elongation ≥35% in annealed condition.
Manufactured to tight dimensional tolerances (h8, h9 grades) ensuring easy integration and reduced secondary machining requirements.
Single-phase austenitic microstructure allows for good cold and hot workability with common welding methods including TIG and MIG.
Extended service life in aggressive environments reduces maintenance costs and downtime.
