34CrNiMo6 / 1.6582 Steel is a heat-treatable, low alloy engineering steel designed for high-performance applications. This material offers excellent mechanical properties including typical tensile strength of 1000-1200 N/mm² combined with good ductility and shock resistance.

- Quench and temper process: Heat to 850°C, soak, oil quench, temper at 600°C
- Hot forming temperature: 1100-900°C
- Optimal machining in annealed or normalized and tempered condition
34CrNiMo6 can be fusion or resistance welded using established methods with proper preheat and post-heat procedures to maintain material integrity.
