Grade 304 Stainless Steel
304 stainless steel is a universal stainless steel material with superior anti-rust performance compared to 200 series stainless steel. It offers excellent high-temperature resistance up to 1000-1200°C and provides outstanding corrosion resistance with good intergranular corrosion resistance.
In laboratory testing, 304 demonstrates strong corrosion resistance in boiling nitrate solvents with concentrations below 65%. It also exhibits excellent resistance to alkali solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.
This widely used steel grade offers excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature strength, and superior mechanical properties. It can be pressed, bent, and thermally processed without heat treatment hardening (non-magnetic, operating temperature range: -196°C to 800°C).
