316Ti Stainless Steel Overview

316Ti stainless steel is an austenitic grade containing molybdenum for enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. The titanium addition (approximately 0.5%) stabilizes the structure at temperatures over 800°C, preventing carbide precipitation and protecting against corrosion while maintaining physical and mechanical properties similar to standard 316 grades.
