Product Description
ASME SA240 No. 1 Surface S30408 304 1.4301 Stainless Steel Plate
304 stainless steel is the original "18-8" stainless alloy, produced in greater quantity than any other austenitic stainless steel. It provides excellent resistance to corrosion in environments ranging from moderately reducing to moderately oxidizing. Through controlled nitrogen addition, 304L typically meets the mechanical properties of standard 304, allowing most products to be dual certified as 304/304L.
