Product Description

Stainless steel checker plate, also known as stainless steel diamond plate, tread plate, or chequer plate, features patterns including lentil-shaped, diamond-shaped, round bean-shaped, dot-shaped, and oblate mixed shapes.

Applications

The surface rib bar provides excellent non-slip properties, making it ideal for flooring, factory escalators, working platform pedals, ship decks, and vehicle floors. Its attractive appearance, slip resistance, strength enhancement, and steel efficiency make it widely used in transportation, construction, decoration, equipment flooring, machinery, and shipbuilding.

Production Process

Two primary production processes: hot rolled with NO.1 finish and cold press with NO.1 or 2B finish. Hot rolled plates are typically more expensive than cold pressed alternatives.

Quality Standards

Pattern height must be at least 0.2 times the substrate thickness. Complete patterns are required, with pattern height tolerance not exceeding half the thickness tolerance. Minor local burrs are acceptable.
