Product Description
1.4301 Stainless Steel Plate ASTM A240 SS 304 Plate
304 stainless steel is the original "18-8" stainless alloy, produced in greater quantity than any other austenitic stainless steel. It provides useful resistance to corrosion in environments ranging from moderately reducing to moderately oxidizing. Through controlled nitrogen addition, 304L commonly meets the mechanical properties of standard 304, resulting in most products being dual certified as 304/304L.
