ASTM A-240 Type 409 / SUH409L / SUS409L Stainless Steel Plate 409L
AISI 409L stainless steel strip and SUH409L stainless steel coil - cold rolled steel sheet in coil 409L stainless steel for decoration and construction applications.
Compared with ordinary carbon steel, the chemical composition of stainless steel is mainly increased by alloying elements such as Cr, Ni, Mn, and Mo. The material characteristics of the two are very different. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel mainly depends on the content of Cr. Mo and N can also enhance its corrosion resistance; Ni is mainly used to ensure the microstructure and mechanical properties of stainless steel.
