Product Description
2507 Super Duplex Steel Plate UNS S32750 DIN 1.4410
Alloy 2507 (UNS S32750) is a super duplex stainless steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel designed for demanding applications requiring exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. This steel offers excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity, and low coefficient of thermal expansion. The high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen levels provide superior resistance to pitting, crevice, and general corrosion.
Material Standards
ASTM/ASME: A240 - UNS S32750
EURONORM: 1.4410 - X2 Cr Ni MoN 25.7.4
AFNOR: Z3 CN 25.06 Az
Industrial Applications
  • Oil and gas industry equipment
  • Offshore platforms, heat exchangers, and process water systems
  • Fire-fighting systems, injection and ballast water systems
  • Chemical process industries, vessels, and piping
  • Desalination plants and high pressure RO-plant systems
  • Seawater piping and mechanical structural components
  • Power industry FGD systems and scrubber systems
  • Absorber towers, ducting, and high-strength corrosion-resistant parts
Technical Specifications
Alloy 2507 super duplex stainless steel is engineered for applications demanding exceptional strength and corrosion resistance in chemical process, petrochemical, and seawater equipment. The material features excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking with high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion. Impact strength is notably high. Note: Not recommended for prolonged exposure above 570°F due to potential toughness reduction.
