Surface Treatments & Characteristics
Surface Finish Characteristics and Applications
NO.2B Superior brightness and flatness compared to NO.2D. Enhanced mechanical properties through special surface treatment, suitable for comprehensive applications.
NO.1 Heat treatment and pickling finish after hot rolling process.
NO.4 Polished with #150-#180 grit abrasive belt. Features better brightness with discontinuous coarse striations. Used for bathtubs, building ornaments, appliances, kitchen utensils, and food processing equipment.
HL Polished with #150-#320 grit abrasive belt on NO.4 finish. Continuous streaks pattern. Ideal for building ornaments, elevators, doors, and frontal plates.
BA Cold rolled, bright annealed, and skin-passed. Excellent mirror-like brightness and reflectivity. Suitable for kitchen apparatus and decorative applications.
8K Exceptional brightness and superior mirror-like reflectivity.

Corrosion Resistance
Stainless steel offers excellent resistance to corrosion and staining, requires low maintenance, and maintains its attractive luster, making it ideal for numerous applications. This alloy is widely used in cookware, cutlery, household hardware, surgical instruments, major appliances, industrial equipment, and automotive and construction materials for large buildings. It is particularly suitable for commercial kitchens and food processing plants as it can be steam-cleaned and sterilized without requiring paint or other surface finishes.
