Type 410 stainless steel is a hardenable, martensitic stainless steel that combines superior wear resistance with excellent corrosion resistance. This grade features high strength, heat resistance, and good ductility, making it well-suited for highly stressed parts in mild atmospheres, steam, and mild chemical environments. Grade 410 is magnetic in both annealed and hardened conditions.
Our 410 stainless steel materials are used in aerospace, automotive, petrochemical, and medical applications. This grade is also ideal for manufacturing springs, fasteners, and other components that require machining after tempering or annealing.
