Stainless steel chequered plates, also known as stainless steel chequer plates or stainless steel checker plates, are lightweight metal plates with good anti-slipping and decorative features. One side of a stainless steel chequered plate is raised regular diamonds or lines, while the other side is plane. GRADES

304 and 304L are the most commonly used grades for stainless steel checkered plates as they are less expensive, highly versatile, easily roll-formed or shaped and offer excellent corrosion resistance and weldability, while also maintaining their durability. For coastal and marine environments, grades 316 and 316L are often favoured due to their superior corrosion resistance and are particularly effective in acidic environments.
