Product Overview

Abrasion Resistant (AR) steel plate is manufactured in the as-rolled condition specifically for long service life in harsh operating environments. These steel plate products are engineered for applications in mining, quarrying, conveyors, material handling, construction, and earthmoving equipment.

Application Specifications

AR400: Premium abrasion resistant steel plates that are heat-treated and exhibit through-hardening. Features improved forming and welding capabilities.
AR450: Abrasion resistant plate used in applications requiring slightly greater strength than AR400.
AR500: Suitable for mining, forestry and construction applications with high wear requirements.
AR600: Utilized in high-wear areas including aggregate removal, mining, and manufacturing of buckets and wear bodies.
