Corrosion Resistance

- Excellent performance at normal temperatures with good resistance to oxidizing and carburizing atmospheres
Heat Resistance
- Superior oxidation resistance in intermittent service up to 1040°C and continuous service up to 1150°C
- Excellent resistance to thermal fatigue and cyclic heating
- Widely used in applications involving sulphur dioxide gas at elevated temperatures
- Optimal performance starting from 800-900°C, exceeding capabilities of 304H and 321 grades
- Continuous use in 425-860°C range not recommended due to carbide precipitation when aqueous corrosion resistance is required
