Hastelloy C-22 Alloy Characteristics
HASTELLOY Alloy C-22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy offering enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Its unique properties include:
- Resistance to grain boundary precipitates in weld-heat affected zones
- Suitable for use in as-welded condition
- Outstanding performance in both reducing and oxidizing media
- Excellent reliability during "upset" conditions
- Proven weldability and high corrosion resistance as consumable filler wires and electrodes
