ASTM 254smo S31254 1.4547 Stainless Steel Plate
Alloy SMO 254 Stainless Steel plate is a premium super austenitic stainless steel alloyed with molybdenum and nitrogen, featuring low carbon content. This high-performance material demonstrates outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress cracking, and corrosion fatigue uniform corrosion.
Alloy 254 SMO is substantially stronger than common austenitic grades, with strength nearly twice that of 300 series stainless steel. It is characterized by high ductility and impact strength, making it ideal for demanding applications in corrosive environments.
