Alloy 254 SMO is a premium super austenitic stainless steel plate with enhanced molybdenum and nitrogen content. This low-carbon alloy delivers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion fatigue. With strength approximately double that of standard 300 series stainless steels, 254 SMO offers superior mechanical properties while maintaining high ductility and impact strength.
