436 Stainless Steel Material Data (UNS S43600)
436 stainless steel is a modified version of 434 steel that reduces the tendency to "wrinkle" during stringent stretch forming operations. While 430 stainless steel is commonly used for automotive interior trim panels, 434 and 436 grades are specified when enhanced corrosion resistance is required.
