Compared with ordinary carbon steel, stainless steel contains enhanced alloying elements such as Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), Manganese (Mn), and Molybdenum (Mo), providing significantly different material characteristics. The corrosion resistance primarily depends on Chromium content, while Nickel ensures optimal microstructure and mechanical properties.
