EN 1.4510 DIN SUS439m AISI 439 Stainless Steel Sheet
The composition of 439 stainless steel has been balanced to provide a completely ferritic structure at all temperatures, ensuring maintained ductility after welding and excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Unlike similar ferritic stainless steels such as 430 and 434 alloys, which are susceptible to brittle martensite formation after welding and intergranular corrosion sensitivity, 439 stainless steel does not require annealing after welding to restore ductility or provide intergranular corrosion resistance.
