What is Inconel 625 Pipe?
Inconel 625 is an austenitic grade of steel. These pipes are designed with a superior composition of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum allowing the pipes to transport fluids and gases in corrosive and oxidative media. The alloy 625 pipes can be used in temperatures up to 1800 degrees F and are highly resistant to attacks in mild or alkaline conditions. The pipes work well in marine environments, where they are susceptible to pitting and crevice corrosion. The Inconel grade 625 pipes have good strength and showcase superior mechanical properties. These components have a minimum tensile strength of 940mpa with a minimum yield strength of 430mpa and can be elongated by 51.5%. Designed with a hardness between 32 to 40 HRC, the alloy 625 pipe is difficult to machine and process.

- Eddy current testing- The process is based around the theory of electromagnetic agent that is designed without a coupling agent. It helps in the detection of bulbs and can be used in measuring seamless pipes of different configurations.
