ASTM B574 UNS N10276 Round Bar , C276 Alloy Round Bar, Get a Quote of C276 Hastelloy Polished Bar.
Although this alloy grade can operate in oxidizing atmospheres up to an elevated temperature range of about 1900°F. However, the C276 Hastelloy Polished Bar lacks sufficient chromium content in its alloy, therefore it tends to perform poorly when exposed to the most strongly oxidizing environments for e.g. hot, concentrated nitric acid. The low carbon content present in the Hastelloy C276 Bar is what ensures that the metal can be utilized in an as-welded condition. Since the alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment, the Hastelloy Alloy C276 Rods are often hardened by a cold working process, which in turn increases its tensile strength properties
