316 / 316L / 316TI are types of stainless steel which are also called as marine grade stainless steel. It is an alloy of steel that possesses elements like nickel, chromium, and molybdenum. The difference between 316 and 316L is that the 316L contains less amount of carbon in comparison to 316.
