HASTELLOY C276 (UNS N10276/2.4819) is a Nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy, this alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, that is considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy available. This material is especially suitable for use in high temperature, inorganic and organic acids mixed with impurities (such as formic acid and acetic acid), and seawater corrosive environments.
