Monel K500, also referred to as Monel UNS No5500 Sheet is an age hardened Nickel Copper based alloy. 2.4375 Monel K500 Shim Sheet is an alloy which combines the corrosion resistance properties of Alloy 400 with an increase in its properties, namely - high strength corrosion fatigue and erosion resistance.

Monel K500 Plate could be further strengthened by performing a cold working procedure before the precipitation hardening process.Since the ASTM B127 is specification which covers rolled nickel- copper based Monel 400, it can be used in the manufacture of components such as plate, ASTM B127 Monel K500 Sheet, and strip.
