What is Hastelloy C276 Plate?
ASTM B575 is a specification which covers alloy forms produced in the form of ASTM B575 C276 Hastelloy 2D Plate, sheets, along with strip. In this case, the ASTM B575 specified Hastelloy UNS N10276 Polished Cold Drawn Plate is chemically a low carbon based nickel alloy. Apart from nickel, the Nickel Alloy C276 Clad Plate additionally contains chromium and molybdenum, which in turn give the alloy its corrosion resistance properties especially against pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments. And chromium offers resistance against oxidizing media.
