Product Introduction
Cold-rolled steel sheet, also known as cold-rolled plain carbon structural plate or cold plate, is manufactured from ordinary carbon structural steel hot-rolled steel strip through further cold rolling to achieve thicknesses less than 4mm. The cold rolling process at room temperature prevents iron oxide formation, resulting in superior surface quality and high dimensional accuracy. Combined with annealing treatment, these sheets offer excellent mechanical and technological properties that surpass hot-rolled steel sheets. This makes cold-rolled steel sheets the preferred choice in many applications, particularly in household appliance manufacturing where they have largely replaced hot-rolled alternatives.
