Heat Treatment Assurance
Our facility utilizes a fully-automatic natural gas furnace measuring 24 meters in length, capable of maintaining temperature tolerance within 10ºC for precise heat treatment control.
Important Note: It is recommended that the tempering temperature should be at least 100°F [50°C] above the intended service temperature. Please advise if service temperature exceeds 1100°F [600°C]. Pipes of Grades P1, P2, and P12 may receive final heat treatment at 1200°F[650°C] to 1300°F [705°C]. Grade P5c pipes require final heat treatment between 1325°F [715°C] to 1375°F[745°C].
Quality Assurance Process
- Each lot of raw materials undergoes spectrometer testing before storage
- 100% Positive Material Identification (PMI) on mother pipe to ensure correct material
- 100% PMI verification on finished pipe to confirm proper grade specification
