17-4PH Precipitation Hardening Seamless Stainless Steel Tube

17-4 PH (AISI 630, EN 1.4542, DIN X5CrNiCuNb16-4) is a martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel that provides an outstanding combination of:

  • High strength and good mechanical properties up to 600°F (316°C)
  • Excellent corrosion resistance comparable to Type 304 stainless steel
  • Good toughness in both base metal and welds
  • Short-time, low-temperature heat treatments minimizing warpage and scaling

This versatile material is widely used in aerospace, chemical, petrochemical, food processing, paper, and general metalworking industries.
