I Beam
The most common beam in industrial applications, I-beams feature a center web that can be rolled to specific thickness limitations (typically 5/8″). Known for their lightweight construction and solid, single-piece manufacturing process, I-beams offer excellent strength-to-weight ratios for various structural applications.
H Beam
H-beams provide superior strength compared to I-beams through an advanced manufacturing process. Unlike the single-piece construction of I-beams, H-beams are fabricated from three individually created components welded together. This triple-reinforcement process results in significantly heavier beams capable of withstanding greater force and pressure in demanding structural applications.
